Locked out 11:04AM

Good day, or good evening, depending on when you read this. How are things with you, may I ask, for they are all good here. Someone is cranking up the handle on my life, things are happening faster and fiecer everyday. Today we saw the Blobby lighthouse article on www.stuff.co.nz, then it was in the newspaper, a HUGE article on page 3 - wow! Then it was on the channel 3 news. They even did a fly by in the hellicopter. Man is that publicity or what! I am buzzing.

At some stage today I put my hand in my pocket and found it empty. Where usually my hand would collide with a little pouch that I made in Primary school and which contains my house keys, today it found nothing. I was locked out of the house. That was sweet cause I was sure my new flatmate would be home soon enough.

Damian and I did a reconasence mission past the construction yard in Courtenay place today at lunch time. We took photos and noted down possible escape routes before going back to work. I left work right on the dot today which was dumb cause I got home and remembered I had no key. I checked the windows and found them open a crack but with a little catch stopping them from opening any further so I went next door and showed the neighbours the newspaper article and waited for my flatmate Gerry to come home. I got rung up and told that the Blobby lighthouse was on 3 news so I stayed and watched that as I still have no TV, then when Gerry still wasn't home, Fee offered to cook me dinner, probably cause I was looking real hungry. So we had some nachos and watched more TV. The girls thought I had locked myself out of my house on purpose so that I had an excuse to come watch TV without having to pay them in baking, yeah right, I wish I was so smart. We somehow ended up talking about your best kiss ever. I can clearly remember mine, it was after a massive night out at the FATs on a $2 Wednesday night. I was pissed by 10pm and ended up catching up with a cool chick I had snogged in Dunners way back. We hung around drinking and talking till 4 in the morning then just before she left she reached up and gave me a lingering kiss then hopped in a taxi and disappeared. I remember savouring the feel and taste of it the whole way home in my taxi. That kiss stands out amoung all the others. I suffered the next day tho, after 4 hours of sleep I decided to go to work with the hell hangover, I only spewed about 5 times tho. Anyway back to the present...

Gerry still wasn't home by 9:30 so I grabbed a knife and managed to flick the latch on my window (it took 2 secs!) and climbed in. Fee took photos and just as I got inside, Gerry came home, what impecable timing..
