Suck day 9:12AM

Today sucked. It was officially a suck day. Left a little earlier to catch the train out to Petone for some work out at Hut Valley Polytech. Got there and the data we were working on was corrupt, always test your CDs when you burn them, I learnt that one the hard way. Got back to work and problems at the Dairy Board so went down there, sorted some but more kept cropping up. Got back to work and the day was over. My high point was a packet of M&Ms; I brought from the snack box. They rocked, but that only lasted about a minute until they had all been scoffed.

Hot chocolate with marshmellows rocks. I have eaten most of the marshmellows though without putting them in hot chocolate. I have no self control when it comes to sweet things. Just a quick warning for those who may not have already tried this: An enquisitive mind may wonder how nice hot chocolate powder is by itself, after all hot chocolate is all good when made properly, but beware. I heaped a teaspoon of this magical looking stuff, placed it in my mouth and bit down. The powder puffed up everywhere inside my mouth, it went down my throat and up my nose. Its fine granularity irritated my nose causing it to run. I blew my nose and filled a hanky with a nice brownish mixture. My nose did its job and ran until the irritation was thoughly removed from its premises.

Moral of the story?

Place the teaspoon carefully inside the mouth, slowly bring the roof of the mouth down on the heaped spoon, allow saliva to dampen the surface of the powder. Carefully slide the spoon out. Chew powder ball, mixing with copious amounts of saliva. After all that it tastes pretty good.

Might be going skiing with Gerry. That would rock. I have never skiied the North Island slopes before. I have to say here, skiing is my favourite sport. Nothing beats the excellence of hooning down a snow covered hill at top speed, nothing. I have the best days ever when I ski. Even when we had near white out conditions, with hail hitting my face and my cheeks so numb I couldn't move them with the gound blending into the sky, even then I had a great time. I only ever go once a year though. I need to earn more money so I can go more often. Working on that though...

side note 9:15AM

I just realised, tomorrow is my 9100th day of life. I will have to celebrate that one somehow
