So yesterday was ok. I managed to get through a day of drudery and also fixed one BIG problem a client was having, well sort of fixed it, we'll see how that goes. But half way through the day I got a call from my supplier, ""Hey dude, you wanna TV? 21 inch, philips for $50?"" ""Yeah man whats wrong with it though?"" Apparently this girl is going overseas real soon and wants to sell everything. I'm hopefully going to have a look at it this morning, so currently Damian rocks my world. We'll see if its as good as it sounds though.

I did manage to construct a few good emails yesterday. I quite enjoy wielding the written word. I was plesantly surprised to get a few good replies as well. After work I got an email from my ex-flatmates mum. I thought that was REAL cool. It was quite long asking how I was and what I was up to etc, etc. It is good to see everyone is enjoying those photos of me in my prince outfit. :)

So I went out for a coffee with Kelly last night. We did a little planning session for Damians 25th that is coming up soon. Unfortunetly this will probably clash with Amy's 21st, but such is life. We have a few good ideas, Kelly has to investigate a bit further.

And yes I may have a TV!

I noted this morning that I can get up, have breakfast and have a shower in 15mins and be ready to go out, 1 minute too long for me to walk to work with my flatmate. So since I start later today I hung round home and did the dishes. The Gathering CD kept me company while I worked.

TV 11:40AM

It has been a good day in all. I got to be secretary for our weekly development meeting in the morning which was ok. Damian and I then went out for a coffee with this dude Brad who works with the chick who is moving overseas and wanted to sell this TV to me. She wasn't there at the moment so we went out for coffee. Remember this is my day off so I can do whatever. She gave us a call (she was called Jo) and joined us for coffee. We helped her empty stuff out of her car and took it up to her work then drove round to her place. She had a pretty flash car and it was cool sitting in the back hooning round town in a car that can handle itself (although I had to lean sideways as I was too tall for the back). Her flat was real cool, situated on top of a hill, getting the sun and quite nice (and quite expensive). This chick obviously had a bit of dosh hence she didn't care that she was selling the TV for cheap. So we carried it back to the car, hooned round to my place while she told us of her one car crash that she did sober that turned into two car crashes, one which almost wrote off the car and one while pissed. Anyway it was impressive driving around with her, she was one of those people who is going places (in this case Amsterdam) and it is fun to tag along for the ride with. So we got to my place unloaded the TV and headed back to work. I got the dosh for the TV and gave it to her and then headed off to Damian's place for a little server work.

I didn't get too much done, Ashes Corporation now has an upgraded services area, not that I think many people actually go there (I still need to print out some business cards). And the Perihelion has had a little bit of work done on it - note the sponsors area. Please please someone sponsor me. All its going to take is some thing like a tin of chuppa chups (~$25) for a months sponsoring, is that not worth it ?

I then went home, set up the TV. It is a 21 inch Philips with aerial for $50. Oh so sweet. I watched cartoons for a while and then went for a blade. I think I am getting quite fast now, must be all that practise going out with friends and stuff, I definitly wasn't this good at the start of the year. I then came home and watched some more TV, probably watched about 3 hours all up, it was great. The month off has helped me though. I can turn it off and do other things and am not dependant on watching any shows (I don't even know whats on any more!).

So to sum up my day, TV - YAY!, a little bit of server work, roller blade - yay!, more TV - YAY!, and please sponsor me. If I can get someone to sponser my food bill and my rent bill then I wouldn't have too many other expenses... Anyway dreams are free, come to my place and I've give a few away. Speaking of which I should go view some now..
