Feeling kinda meloncholy 1:54AM
I have been in a slightly melancholy mood this last day or two. This is not a depressing mood, just sadly thoughtful. One thing that makes me feel sad is when friends or family have problems. I can handle my own problems fine cause they usually aren't that bad but you can't always do much about others problems and the more you think about them the more it gets you down. The solution is of course not to think about them but that sounds bad, to just ignore your friends problems. Anyway I have a solution to cheer up one friend. Motivate the mind I say, kick it till it thinks about interesting things again, then it will heal. We'll see how that goes.
I booked my holidays for a week around labour day to go down to Wanaka for my ex-flatmate from Dunedins wedding. This is going to rock. Its still a little way away though so can't get too excited just yet
