I must tell you of the Rage CD. A while back I noticed that my original Rage Against the Machine CD had been replaced with its sucessor, The Battle of Los Angeles. I had never owned this CD nor knew how it had come to take my ones place. I asked Crispy but his Rage CDs were all in order and he didn't have mine. I didn't know who I could have swapped it with. Then Tom came up and brought out his CDs to see if I wanted to rip some onto my computer. He said here take the Battle of Los Angeles and I said nah, I have that already cause mines been swapped, then on a hunch I opened his up and wala, there was my Rage CD. Must have been swapped on one of my trips down to Dunedin, cool huh?
I raced Thomas up Hawker St yesterday. Its a steep, fucker of a street, very steep. He rode the bike and I ran. He kained it and beat me, but not by much. He was then stuffed and couldn't keep up with me. I'm almost as fast running up hill as a good cyclist which is pretty cool.
Today I lost my internet connection. Long story there but it turns out we'd been running without an ISP. When I requested a change of our plan (cause we're downloading too much) they noticed and cut us off. Now I have to get one and the sites been down for a day. I can fill out my entries as they are on the local network, not the internet.
Am feeling good today. Its a stink day and raining but I beat Thomas at two games of chess then Lee at 2 games. I am master of all that thinks... Time to take Crispy on again.
Am feeling at a loss without being able to check my email and internet stuff. What else is there to do in life on a rainy day. Here Thomas, Thomas, wannanohter whipping, I mean game, of chess?
Brought another Dune book at 50% off from Whitcouls yesterday. Its a prelude to Dune written by Frank Herberts son so its not quite the same but alright so far. The Dune books are still one of my all time favourites. The story is just rich in imagination. The guy is definitly a visionary.

""There is little of interest in a perfectly round stone. Every point on it looks the same as any other. How quickly will you become bored of something with only one point of interest. This is why we see beauty in complex objects such as trees. A complex shape of random protrusions coming together to form a whole. Everywhere you look there is detail and something new to examine.""
