Friday night ended up being a quiet night. Went into work and caught up with the work mates. Hellen, a chick from work, was leaving so we went downstairs to the Bull & Bear and watched the soccer then everyone went home. I came home and had an early night.

Saturday I went for a wonder through town with my brother Thomas. We went to the Journalists Photographic Exhibition. It was alright. Had some freaky photos of people falling head over heals next to one of the burning twin towers. Didn't look real. Was meant to go for a bike ride in the afternoon but that never happened so didn't do much. Got pizza with Dan and went round to a mates place just up the road to watch the rugby on a cool projector on the wall and then The Professional on said projector on DVD. Was a pretty good night all round.

Sunday I got up early. Went down town and brought some stamps and some envelopes. Hooned round to Damian's place and we put together some letters to send out to the pubs. I found a 5c and a malaysan 20c piece. Also stopped in at the pokies and won $8 (from spending $2). I don't do this very often but got a compulsion to today. You must trust your compulsions, they are someone telling you to do something... Got home, found my crappy, piece of shit, $2 stapler had run out of staples so ran down to Whitcouls and brought a cool kick arse stapler with 1 million staples (pretty much) and mailed off all these letters to our first 6 pubs. They look pretty professional. Found another 5c piece on the way.

Hung out with Fi for the afternoon. Made her tidy her room as it was a mess. Went for a walk round Mt Vic which is soo cool. Only at the end of our street (we're right on the edge of the center of city) and we're into pine trees and nice relaxed walks. We found a cool track and discovered a vine of banana passion fruits. Had a taste (and harvested a few) of these then headed round to the cool rope swing on Grass street then to this big childrens slide just round the corner. I managed to go down face first on my stomach and my cell phone came out of my pocket, got lodged under me, and wore off half the paint on the front. I was bummed out. Couldn't stay long though as I had laser strike with my little cousin who had just turned 10.

Just got to laser strike on time. It rocked, even after my slow start. It was Thomas & I along with 4 little kids against another team of two adults and 4 kids. All the kids new what they were doing and none of us adults did. I still don't know what the alien hive was or how you got bonus points from shooting it, anyway...

My first game I discovered, just a little late that my battery needed resetting. Too late, my score and hit rate was an embarrassing 0 and 0% respectively as I came in lucky last. I made up for it though in the next game where I went on a killing rampage, scaring the crappies out of little boys. Hehehe, I came first with the best score and hit rate. Next round I was down a bit in points but had the highest hit rate of 41% which was pretty good. It was a cool game though. Your teeth glowed in the ultra violet so you could smile at people and scare them... :)

After that came home, did a quick shop, cooked up a legend roast and washed it down with a bottle of wine. Don't let anyone tell you we don't live in style here (sometimes). It was good, then we watched MI 1. All in all a good day
