Shots of tequila with Martin & Tom 12:20PM
So I didn't even go to the BBQ. But thats alright because we had sizzlers in white bread with sause and onions and a potatoe salad and all was sweet.
Friday night was a big one. It was as I intended but not due to my own efforts. I started off at 4pm on a bottle of Lindauer but there was no one to drink with. I stretched it out till about 8:30 when Mr Werry came round with some top-me-up beers. We churned through those pretty fast then Martin arrived. Martin my drunken friend. Martin with the tequila. Man I hate tequila. We did shots and I stopped doing the salt and lemon after the first one. Its not that the tequila makes me sick or I can't handle it, its just that the taste is disgusting. Anyway after another couple of beers and a few rounds of increasingly larger shots of tequila we headed out onto the town. Apart from Tom's friend Chris who was on call and not drinking I think I was the most sober one there and my night is a bit blurry. Tom profeses not to remember much and I haven't spoken to Martin but he looked the worst out of all of us. We went to Paradiso bar where there was a $5 cover charge and a cool DJ playing. We met Deanne some time through out the night, I hardly remember and she left her jacket behind... again. Last week she managed to loose her purse there as well but it all got returned, less the money in her wallet. Anyway I saw Litsa as well and Tom says he almost fell over. Chris got some chicks phone number and Martin managed to stand upright. Everyone left around 3ish but I decided to stay on. Danced away till 5am which I think helped my hangover the next day quite a bit.
Saturday I actually felt quite good - after a long sleep in. I arose, no head ache, no nausia, all was sweet. Dan decided to go shopping and Thomas (stop... these two Thomas's are getting confusing so I am going to start calling my brother Bryth (his email address at uni, first 3 letters of your surname followed by the first 2 of your christian name, which kinda stuck for a while). Bryth came round and we played chess. It was pretty even but he managed to just win 2 games out of 3 in the end. We then went out for a blade as it was an excellent day and practised the moves. He is pretty good considering he doesn't blade much. We came back to find that Dan had purchased a receiver and two Infinity speakers plus cables. After hooking the DVD player into it and setting it all up it was DVD time (after many double cheese sizzlers, Dan didn't eat much he was too excited). Bev & Jo came round and we watched the professional then they went home and we watched ice age. Got a txt msg from Diana which was cool to hear from her. Then it was bed time.
Today I have to go to the gym
Many questions... 12:25PM
Most people take the world for granted. You do things and they work and you don't question why. I mean take your CD player for instance. You play music on it. You pause it and it stops, then you press play again and hey presto out comes the music again. But when you think about this how does it actually pause? The CD doesn't come to a screetching halt in an instance then start up again when you press play again does it? Its always spinning, so how does it know where to start up again? I never really thought about it before, I mean tapes came to a stop then start up again so why shouldn't CDs
