The Book of Ashes
Legend in his own mind, creator of all you see here, he walks this Earth on the path of the becoming.

Packing up for Dan, cleaning under the bed... 11:31AM
Chaos paid a visit in his little brown car. He whipped around the flat and packed up all the gear. Now the mess is made and its time he went his way. He's not coming back cause he thinks he's had his say.
The end of another era draws near. Dan is back and is on a mish to Auckland. Today we brought the boxes out of the shed and an early retirement to pack up all his electronics. The lounge is now a little different. Instead of that huge mass of cables, circuit boards and the massive electron gun we have the humble table I made in 5th form woodwork with my trusty Kenwood (the silver beast) sitting on top keeping up an uninterupted stream of phat beats (Rhombus is currently in the house, sharing with Massive Attacks latest offspring). The Kenwood provides a little more bass than Dan's Infinities. They were only meant as rear speakers anyway so it is not a competition.
It is finally sinking in tho. Not tomorrow but the next and Dan will be gone. The replacement arrives Friday or Saturday. Will be fun getting to know someone new.
Today I pulled my bed out from the corner that it has grown into. Its never been moved since the day I shifted into the flat and laid it there in all its glory. There was just a little dust underneath (creating its own scree slopes from the wall to the carpet) and the skirting boards needed wiping down. Otherwise it wasn't too bad. Maybe I'll do this again in another couple of years.
So my question for the day is... who knows what a DX Box is? Like a PO Box its an address and from a business mailing company but where do I post one? I have a free DX postage in NZ stamp on an envelope but don't know where to post it. Do I post it thru NZ Post? or some other outlet? Anyone that can help me? Please...
I should give myself a time frame. One week to hook myself up with LIVEWIRES, to meet with the ORACLE and to see how many others I can encourage to DOWNLOAD and INDEX. Yup you guessed it, as the Murphys Law poster on my kitchen wall says ""Everyone has a plan to get rich that won't work"". It seems I have more than my fair share of those... In all reality its more likely I just lack the commitment to carry through my ideas to the end. Anyway work calls, sleep can wait for once..
