Going out to diva, rugby and training 8:17AM

Not much to say. Friday night was curry with Bonnie, Jackie & Tom. They were going to go to a movie but don't know if either one could decide. Bonnie and I watched Jackass at home on the computer. Was alright, too similar to the series tho, nothing special.

Saturday was spent shopping. I brought an oil burner for a couple of hours worth of shopping. Slowly replacing the things Dan owned that he took with him when he left.

Satuday night was rugby at Martin's place. A few cold speights (they were $10.95 a dozen at New World so we both stocked up) in front of a big screen, projected on the wall. After that we headed out to Diva (I hadn't been there in ages, brought back many happy memories of failed spading missions) to meet up with one of Bonnies friends from Auckland. Let me say this tho. Diva was packed. They were mostly young (as in I am old) and earlier on they were mostly female. Female turned to guys as the night went on. What is this trend (I had noticed it before at places like The Loaded Hog) with chicks dominating the dancing places from 10-12pm then all the guys turning up thereafter and the chicks leaving. Do the guys only have early morning spading licenses? Does it take them that long to get ready/drunk before hitting the town? Can they not find the chicks till after about 12? I don't know...

Today is Sunday, the shortest day of the year. The new beach at Oriental Parade had its opening day which was a little sad seeing as half the pavement is still ripped up and that parts are not finished yet. Still we went down later and found many impressive sand castles. One of which spanned the space of a small room and was taller than me. I was impressed.

Before this I got the call from Master Lee. We went up to the end of the road for some training and now my arms are a little shaky. It is cool to so overuse your arms that you can no longer control them 100% It means you've been working hard! Bev and I have started sparring, albeit lightly, the result of which is a number of grazes and bruises on my shins, thigh and a small bulb on my head. Gonna look a dork going to work tomorrow. Still getting better tho.

Have just had a Moritz delivered to the door so better stop and eat that. Will watch T2 after that (hanging out for T3) then early bed. Also of mention is the two guests we have had staying this weekend. Two of Averils friends, vegetarians both of them, they ordered pizza tonight and got bacon on it.... hehehe...
