The Book of Ashes

Almost 10,000 and brougth my frist car. 9:03AM

Word on the street is that I turn 10,000 in 10 days! No big deal. Don't spend too much on presents for me, its only 10,000. Happens two or three times in your lifetime.

So the deal is done. I have purchased my first car. A Nissan Bluebird, ARX. 1992. Automatic. A picture will come up soon. It has been a big learning curve for me. I didn't know much about cars. I know a little more now. Soon I will know even more. Need to get insurance now.

So the steps up to my flat got painted. They were worn and getting slippery when it was wet. They nailed a few planks accross the top and bottom so people wouldn't walk on it. Damn thats a pain. Taking the rubbish out involved walking all the way round the big house to end up 5 meters from my doorstep and its just in that awkward position that you can't easily climb over it. I told Bonnie they were painted and she had to go round the house. She thought I meant my house and I was surprised that evening to hear some loud noise scrambling through the bush outside my window then Bonnies face pops up. Arrgggh. Phew. Just Bonnie!

It just so happens that I have already taken the day off work for my 10,000th day of life. I will
be sitting outside in the sun at a pub and drinking beer all afternoon. Many other
people will come out to celebrate with me. They will roll out red carpet
down the main street and celebrities from all round the world will fly in to
pay tribute. It shall be a grand day indeed
