LOTR fever has hit Wellington. Everyone is getting into the spirit of it. It is going to be BIG! They have Gollum out at the airport. The cave troll standing up in Civic Square and the huge fell beasts over the Embassy and Reading. For your viewing pleasure I provide a picture...
This one is the larger of the two and is the witch king and his beast. Not only this but the parade which is going from Parliament to the Embassy will be going past heaps of shops, many with LOTR themes in the windows. Apparently there is a $2000 prize to any shop that puts up something in their window. There is ALSO a picture of Legolas accross from Mollys and sticking out of Mollys is a huge arrow. Very cool. Only 4 more days till I turn 10,000!
