Rents going up, but not for me.... 9:00AM

The rent in our block of flats went up, by about $45/week for each flat. This seems a bit but it hasn't gone up for ages and these flats were pretty cheap anyway. The reason this happened was because the section owner came over from Aussie to see the flats for the first time. After this he asked around to find out what market prices were and adjusted accordingly. I think they are still alright but it will be a bit of a shock for those within. The good thing is the guy said, raise the rent, but not for Ashley, he looks after the flats. You see, when he came over he checked out all the flats. I came home after work to find him, his wife and son just leaving our flat. I said hi and chatted a bit then went inside cause it was raining and horrible outside. I dumped my gear then realised they were all outside milling around. I went out and asked them if they wanted to wait inside and have a coffee or tea or something. They declined but thanked me and I think maybe my kind thoughts received some payback in the form of no increased rent. You see I fully believe in what goes around comes around. Khama or whatever you want to call it. Be good and good will come to you. It seems to work ok for me
