Stress #3: My mother. 12:27PM
She needs a job and to get her act together and she has a psycho neighbour. No shitting you, fairly psycho, she has a court order out against her so she can't come on mums property but I am scared of this woman. Anyway not much I can do about this one. Hopefully she wins lotto and it sorts itself out...
Weekend. 12:41PM
So I have a few things on the go at the moment. Well a few things on the done. I borrowed my Nana's clippers and took to the hedge outside my main window. This is an annual affair between me and the hedge and I think I came out the winner altho I still have quite a few scratchs all along my arms. However we now have much more sunlight and view which is great.
So its official. I now have the cosiest bed around. I did have a kick arse, thick winter duvet but now I have just invested in flannellette (sp?) sheets. They are great, they improved the warmth and cosiness of the bed by an estimated 34.6%. Great. Only problem is they need a little wearing in. Currently everything, and I mean everything, is covered in little bits of fluff from the sheets. And yes I did wash them first and fluff them outside. Its just one of those things, is it possible to vaccum sheets?
Apparently New Zealand people have one of the highest rates of spinal injuries due to DIY. Probably one of the highest rates of injuries for any kind of DIY. I know I'm covered in scratches. A while back Jamie almost slit his wrists with a crow bar while going through some rotten wood and just this weekend Steve was taking a nail out and the hammer came back and hit his tooth and cracked it right down. Owch... Bummer dude.
Still I apologise to those who can't post up here. I still need to set up secure users (and code it) but until then I think I'll get something temporary up for the mean time. I don't like being the only one writing. I miss all of Dan's regular posts, and psykxs and the others...
So... what about that Google IPO (Inital Public Offering)? If I may quote...
"The IPO plans have revealed a number of intriguing facts. One is that co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page do not in fact own the patent for PageRank. This belongs to Stanford University, although Brin and Page have exclusive rights to it until 2011."
"Another is that Google says it is aiming to raise $2,718,281,828 from its share sale, a number identical to the important mathematical constant e, which is the base for natural logarithms."
