Its all over... 2:59PM

I finished work on Thursday. To much to do and too little time. I still have to hand over some stufff to Tom.

We had some drinks that night at The Loaded Hog. Quite a few people turned up including the Crispy One in his yellow silk top. Photos will follow. It was a long night, I drank from 5pm till midnight and was hurting for it the next day. Luckily I'd taken Friday off as a holiday. I spent most of it in bed.

Friday afternoon I made it into work for my TT farewell. There they prepared me for my new role by dressing me up in a gorilla suit (I was a Code Monkey) and feeding me bananas. They brought some pizza and my farewell gift was a new phone (yay I love it, its so much smaller than the last one and has heaps more features, I had to pay half of it though). It was a quiet ending to my time at TT, I was still quite jaded. We then headed out to the lion brewery for some drinks with Jamie (it was his birthday) and then home for dinner and to pack.

Now I am in Queenstown. No worries, no stress, no work...

We flew down here on Sat morning where we were met at the airport by Eddie. He loaned us his car and we drove through to Alex for our afternoon wedding. We found our motel, got changed and headed out. It was hot, I'd discarded my suit jacket and tie in favour of a cooler open shirt. The sun beat down and most people hung out in the shade. The wedding was at the Springvale estate vineyard and was really nice. We had a good night then home to bed.

Sunday we had a look round Alex then back to Queenstown for dinner at Mel's new resturant. It was called the Golden Elephant and we had excellent food there. I can definitely recommend it. Then we headed out briefly for a drink then home to rest and sleep.
