Easter at St Arnaud 8:59PM

4 day weeks are great. I wonder how many years it will be before that is the norm? It is definitely going that way at the moment, working less and less hours each year.

Anyway it was Easter. Bonnie and I headed down to St Arnaud for the weekend. For those who don't know St Arnaud kind of forms a triangle with Nelson and Blenheim. Its below Nelson and to the right of Blenheim and is a totally different climate from both. For starters it heavy rainfall down there with much flooding. Secondly they forcast snow on the hills on Sunday, although it didn't eventuate, I don't think that Blenheim or Nelson get snow on the hills too often.

It was good though. St Arnaud is in the middle of the mountains by lake Rotoeti. Its a beautiful place, not so far from Wellington and right next to Rainbow ski field where TT people will remember the skis and freeze weekends we had there. Not much snow at this time of year though. We just hung out there, chilled with Bonnie's family and ate and drank lots. I'm feeling heavy now. I indulged too much. But all is good. It was the holidays after all. Now we're back and its time for work again. Dag namit!
