Is that a word?
I got annoyed with trying to get my crappy onboard sound card going again after I rebuilt my PC. So I took the easy road out. I bought a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 card. I remember the Audigy being good (a while back) and now its middle of the range. The cheap (crap) is $40-$60. This one was $140, which wasn't too bad.
Now I have good sound.
The world is back in crystal clear quality. Remember I bought those Altec Lansing speakers. OK so they were only a 2.1 (two front and sub) system but they sound pretty good for little PC speakers and I don't really have anything behind me to place another 2 speakers on. So they work well with the Audigy.
Time to test it out now and play with it a bit.
