So I'm on the way. I'm in the Sydney airport. I'm transferring from here to my flight to Los Angeles and I've got a couple of hours spare time on my hands. Just enough to head into Sydney and check it out. But not having flown much I got a bit stuck. I came into the transfers area, sorted out my next ticket then couldn't find my way out (was in the waiting/duty free area and there is no easy way out). Finally found how to get out only to see that I had to go through a long customs queue then back through check in again. Too many hassles and by then it would have been cutting it close on time. So now I hang here, a little bored, a little tired. I got all of 2 hours sleep last night (plus about 2 hours resting) but still feeling alright. I've worked out that LA is only 3 hours difference from us (but on a different day) so maybe that means the jet lag won't be too bad. Sydney is only 2 hours difference and that isn't too bad, however currently its in the wrong direction so its stuffing with me. Well might go find a book to read or a corner to sleep in.
