Ocular migraine... 10:02PM
So I was at work and I got a coloured zig-zag across my I sight. It was cycling through many colours and looked like the colours you see in a drop of water on your monitor. The zig-zag appeared no matter where I looked and after a while it moved into an arc that disappeared off to the sides of my vision. As it went one part crossed over the part of your vision where both eyes over lap so that if I closed the eye it was occuring in (only 1 eye) then I could see the end of it still in the other eye. It disappeared after 5 minutes or so and then I was left with what felt like an eye strain head ache. By lunch time the headache had gone.
Pretty strange, after looking it up it sounds like an Ocular Migraine. First time for me. I know people who get migraines can get some strange visual effects as well. Although I have never seen anything in front of my eyes that didn't exist before quite like this.
Hopefully it does not occur again. I can't think of anything different I had eaten in the last 24 hours or anything different I'd done that day. Strange.
