The weekend... 9:11PM
The weekend was pretty cool. Went out to Jeremy's stag do on Friday night. Started off at Kazu with the beer towers then off to the vertical bungy to launch him into the night. Next was lots of pool and some pole dancing (by Tom and others). After that we were heading somewhere and somehow came across a heavy metal band playing at Valve (I think? was the old hole in the wall). This was awesome (due to how different it was). Our group was the only ones in there not wearing black tee-shirts. Jeremy and his two other work mates had I love Linux tee-shirts on. The band had a guy in a skeleton mask on drums and the singer was topless and screaming into the mike, raw, ror, rar, raw, ror, raaaa. You couldn't distinguish a single word he said and he looked like the guy from a Tool poster I used to have. I actually quite enjoyed it. Jeremy loved it and was up front jumping around.
After that we headed to Sandwhiches where Rob got us in. Saw some Rhombus and drank more shots. Got home around 4 in the morning. Had the painters knocking on the door at 10am the next morning asking me to move my car and open the door so they could finish painting it. Was feeling just a little tired then. Then went off to a 1 year old birthday party at 11. Started to recover a little after that.
So finally having fly buys has paid off. My points from years ago were going to expire (I only ever get them on super market shopping) so I cashed them in for 6 bottles of wine. Not too bad I reckon. Not that I felt like wine much that day.
