Mo-Poker, mo-paintball, mo-stag do... 10:24PM
Wellington is cooling down people, its been a long hot weekend, not at all like the forecast but its all good. The sun is shinning the strawberries are growing and potatoes are popping up out of the compost. What mo could you ask for (apart from the obvious Monday off work)?
It started on Friday, preparation for the mo-poker night at Rob's. This was the reason why we all grew mo's (as well as it being for a good cause of course). This is our reason to live, a massive prize pot totalling $120. Don't spend it all at once folks, make sure you get out Oceans 11 (12, 13) before playing.
So the theme was the usual costume to go with the mo. We have a few good contenders, Zoro, the .NET Framework trucker, a hippie and a cowboy to name a few. I'll post some more photos when I get a chance under the disturbances.

Back with the block rocking beats...
It was an excellent night, some fish and chips, some excellent music, a bottle of bourbon and we were off. The trucker fell out first and turned to the bottle (which he regretted the next day). We comisserated his loss with a jager shot. It came down to Leon and Chris battling it out and going all in. Chris came out the winner and the bottle of jager was the loser.
Day 2: Paintball and stag do.
So the next day I was up and out the door by 9:30 for some paintball. I hadn't had quite enough sleep but I wasn't feeling too bad thanks to the odd water I'd had the night before. Leon was looking pretty good when we picked him up but we couldn't say the same for Tom. He was looking decidedly hung over.
So we headed out to the Hutt paintball. It was a hot day and Leon was given some battle armour to help him out - a flourecent vest with a target on the back. Surprisingly this didn't disadvantage him too much. Paintball was excellent, we ran and crawled through bush, shot the hell out of each other and captured flags. A mo excellent day, but by the end of it I was feeling just a little dehydrated.
Afternoon was spent buying a few plants and doing some gardening. Then it was off to the One Red Dog for Leon's stag do.
After a few beers we were all back into it. Leon was presented with a white picket fence (representing every thing he is against) and sent out into the world of pubs to acquire female signatures on it. It was a bit of a random night but turned out quite well in the end. By mo-night I was starting to flag, held in there till about 1:30 then home to sleep.
Sunday was the big sleep in, rest, recover, recuperate - something like that. A big breakfast at the recovery room, a shop at the Mediterranean Warehouse, super market shopping, some mo gardening and reading and resting in the sun. Overall a mo excellent weekend, same its one day too short. Christmas is sneaking up on us now suspiciously quickly. One day soon its going to be tomorrow and I won't have done all my Christmas shopping.
Well time to sleep. Mo rest required. One mo week to go then the mo comes off.
