Mikes birthday 9:48PM

Yeah its my workmate Mike's birthday today. We watched diggers in the rain. Tomorrow is Bonnie's birthday. Its meant to fine up by the afternoon (11 degrees fine). Mike got a mandarin, a free hour of pool and a white ribbon (against violence) as his total present pull from work. I think he did well. He also scored a banana cake.
I've been thinking recently. The first thing I used to do in a new house was buy a good pen and make sure I had some paper. I'd then sit down and do some writing. Some half arsed theory, a story, doodles, anything. I haven't done that in a long time now.
[Chemical Brothers - Piku]
I think its about time I did again. Theres lots of things to think about, lots of things to write about. Theres no reason to stop thinking, to stop writing...
Currently I think like this. We're all in this together. But we're all in it for ourselves. Our goals in life, very broadly speaking are to build up our assets, T.V.s, cars, ipods, clothes, etc, to build up our experiences, travel and interactions with people. All six billion of us, all trying to maximise our individual experiences. Its not really a very efficient way of doing things. Take a look at ants. Imagine if each one wanted its own house, its own food supply and its own queenie. It wouldn't work as well would it? There'd be food shortages, slackers hanging on to the system, lack of prime realestate, fights over the good land, queens, food. But they work together for the better good.

So this elections I'm voting for a hive mind. Its got a lot of benefits going for it. We are each individual parts of a greater conciousness. We work together for the greater good. Its starting to sound like communism isn't it? Not if each individual part gets a vote in the whole say, effectively telepathy over the mass of humanity, an organic mesh network for the geeks out there, distributed thinking, democracy of the minds. Its an interesting thought, with plenty of downsides. Unfortunetly the technology is still a little way off (but it will come)...
[Chemical Brothers - It doesn't matter]
So the cold has almost gone. Its progressed to what I call the gluey nose stage. I wake up with my nose blocked with guey snot and its backing up down my throat. My throat starts to feel claustraphobic and tells the heart about cholesterol. The heart freaks out a little and starts beating faster. I cough, suck the snot back (or blow it out) and continue on my way. Its quite annoying. I've had a bleeding nose from blowing it out.
No it doesn't matter, thats what Piku said, just as the sun was setting and we were on our way to the Electobank. Phat beats at the Electrobank, heavy base so don't stop the rock, just get up on it like this, lost in the K-hole. So where do I begin? The private psychedelic reel? The galaxy bounce? Too much to say, sing a song to the siren, rockin Chemical beats...
