Spring... 10:19PM
...is here tomorrow, less than two hours in fact. We had a small taste of it this weekend, sun on the face was great.
Brother Eddie came down this week for his birthday and work stuff. Good to catch up with him. Went out and played some basketball with him and the cousins today. Was good but I was puffing after a while, then tried to cut Eddie off and got an elbow in the ribs. They're feeling a little tender now.
Got out and turned the vege garden over today. Dug up everything and replanted it with the usual. Hoping to get a whole lot of potatoes this year. Also some pumpkins (yet to plant those) and a whole lot of other stuff. Also hoping to build another raised garden to get 3 in total. The strawberries are also starting to show some new growth. Looking forward to strawberries again.
Ok so my pet gripe for this week is a shovel & poker set for the fire place. Most of the models available are the crap kind that fall off, you know three pieces hanging from a stand and if you knock it they all go falling off. Pieces of crap design. I knock them off almost every day, broke a wine glass once and don't know why this design persists. Its not that hard to put a recessed bit in there to hold them, they just bloody balance on top and even wobble off. As I said pieces of crap design.
Watched Hancock and Wanted tonight. Hancock was pretty good, wanted was pretty average. Have had a break from movies for a while so good to get some new ones.
Unfortunetly its Monday tomorrow. Work...
