Simultaneously, everyone deserted me, and the batteries have gone flat on my cd. I am plunged into quietness. Only the faint murmour of finance to prevent it from becoming complete silence. Perhaps that is the sound of money. I have broken the gap by getting an NR special. Roast chicken with sage stuffing and brussell sprouts and parsnips on the side. An appropriate meal for a day where the sun decided to not come up.

I fought my first ghost last night. Luckily I had a magic sword, or I would have been reduced to spoils for skeletons. Tonight I search for the skull. The parallel world is so much more interesting right now.

And what of the real world? I am now more equipped to face the coming winter. A big warm winter coat, hat and gloves. It is dark enough now when I walk home that I can watch the stars. I will have to organise a Jack the Ripper or a ghost tour soon. We felt the presence of a ghost last friday night at the pub where we were playing bar billiards. It felt chilling but not harmful.

People continue to get older. We went to Phils 33rd birthday on Saturday. I need to start thinking about being 28 soon. Feels like a good number though, so I should be positive. It will be the year that I pay off all of my debts, for starters.
