lost the rugby 7:22AM
Well I had a pretty good weekend apart from being sick, and that we lost the rugby :(
Both
my exams went reasonably well and Saturday night me, Anna, who does engineering with me,
and Tim, who lives with Anna, went to see Blow. Pretty good movie actually, and the standard
of most of my Saturday nights too, because most of my friends aren't 18 yet! I'm really ancient
round here!
Anyway watched the rugby during another of those awesome Brissy storms,
and got totally paid out by anyone and everyone. Why can't the All Blacks win just once against
the aussies while I'm here!!
Sunday was a bit of a lazy day. Helped David and Jason
do a bit of gardening, so are yard is looking heaps better and spent the rest of the day in bed.
Currently reading 'Ducks on the Pond' an autobiography by Anne Summers, who is a well
known aussie feminist. She was really involved in Politics and feminist issues while she was at
uni and still is. Anne and one of her friends opened the first Women's shelter in Australia.
I'd like to do something to help others like that. Maybe not so grand scale but something.
I'm so lucky.
and Sifty I do think luck exists even if you make your own
