turangi and woodville weekend 10:37AM
had a good weekend.. tiring tho. caught up with rosie in palmy on saturday then headed off for turangi. party was good. good to catch up with some people who i hadn't yet seen these hols. and the miniputt there is really cool. if you're ever passing thro turangi, from the shell station/burger king there you can see the miniputt. go visit it. its choice. didn't get much sleep that night. was real funny actually!
was pretty tired by the time i got to woodville at about lunch time. found wint. he'd already had 1 race and had 2 to go. turned out the real cool new bike he wanted wasn't ready on time so the motorbike shop, phil turnbull, gave him a demo model to use. the newer model of his old bike. pretty sweet anyway.
walking around the grounds i could practically smell the testosterone! all these guys and their big bikes.. GGggrrrr. funny as.
after watching wint ride and come about half way out of 30-something riders (which is pretty good), i was getting real tired. not keen to wait around another hour and a half for his next race (it was already after 4) i gapped home to bed.
anna and sarah went back to school on sunday too.. hahahahahaha! NGA TAWA SUX... tho i have hope for this new principal. might take them out on dinner leave next week before i go. planes booked for the 7th.. next thursday. lots to see and do before then tho.
