Good grief, I no recollection of writing most of the last entry. I have vague memories of checking my mail and writing something in word but not much else. I'm impressed it makes any sense at all. Well it was an interesting night. The Red Back bar might be some peoples cup of tea (more like pint of beer) but its sure not mine.

Still pretty classic night and really you have to experience things to know that you don't like them! The pub becomes increasingly dire the more I'm reminded by others. The glasses were plastic, the ashtrays were screwed down (well apparently), they had a crap covers band and it reminded me a lot of the Fat Ladies Arms!

We were taking it quietly for most of the night, Marcus, Poh and I had rolled out there to meet some friend of Poh's. It was supposed to be quite night, leave about 11:30 to make sure we got the last tube out of the place, three pints, (one round each), since we're all on a budget. But it didn't take long for Marcus and I to start alternating whiskies between pints. Craig turned up a bit later. Then at about 11pm we were standing around when the decision needed to be made. Either head off then, grab the last tube, or get totally mashed and stay the night at Craig's, as he lives nearby).

So on Saturday I awoke on a spare mattress on the floor of Craig's flatmates room. I'd spent the night fully clothed, except for shoes, and slept under a mattress cover. You know the quilted ones, that you put under your sheet.
It was about 8:30 am, and in the 5 hours or so since we had got out of the taxi it had rained pretty heavily outside. (Which to be totally honest it hasn't been doing all that often, despite prior whinging on my part). It was decided to bail to our flat, before the hangovers kicked in proper, we stepped outside into a pretty surreal suburb scene. Endless silent streets of houses, soaking wet from the rain and shrouded in mist. Totally different to where we've been living. Where there are large apartment blocks, busy streets, converted warehouses, and business activity.
