Bugger it.

I hate writing things up when I have to pay for it. This seems to be a constant pain in the arse for me. I've signed off several mails lately with ""gotta go time costs money etc"". It really stifles my writing here too. Since if I had a computer at home I'd use it more, take more time writing things up and it would probably be a more interesting read.

A few months ago in a period of unemployment, when I was forking out some ridiculous quantity of cash for a pretty slow computer I was remembering the old saying 'you have to spend money to make money'. What a crock. I've spent a lot of time on-line, paying through the nose for it, looking for work here. But with very limited success. It really is whom you know not what you know here, plus the whole place teetering on the edge of a global downturn is all bad news for sifters like me looking for a few weeks of employment.

So I sift again. Waiting for this USA Visa to show up, so I know when I can leave here, buy tickets, and put stuff into storage.

I hate being in Limbo like this yet again, waiting for some crappy government department to process my application!
