An inch of snow an hour 6:51AM

So the other day it was colder than its been here since 1984. They were having an inch of snow an hour in Denver. Though not much fell here it was cold as arse. When we drove past the bank in the morning it was -27F. My hair was bit damp waiting for the bus, it froze instantly. (It was -24C when I got to the bottom of the lift - for those who can't work in anything other than celcius. We have a digital thermometer at work .. and i annoy everybody by switching it to C). It didnt get much above -10F all day. Just to give you an idea of how cold it gets .. breath in too deeply and you can feel the inside of your nose freeze. The otehr day when we had a keg party, we put the keg out on the deck.. to keep it cold. The hose froze up and we had to bring it back inside (although the beer was very cold!). My water bottle freezes solid outside at work, in about 15 minutes.

But the snow is very, very good!

So heres a funny story I like. When we were at Aspen the other day Mandy was riding a lift up with me and some random stranger.. he goes..

'So are you guys ski-bums or are you on vacation'

To which Mandy replied

'Actually we are ski-bums on vacation
