Failure at the Vasquez Cirque 3:26AM

So yeah today I was supposed to ride the Vasquez Cirque with Ashes roomate, Casey. This is a whole bunch of double black diamond runs out the back of our resort. Its kind of a hike and you really don't want to go by yourself for safety reasons. So I rolled out of bed about 9am and called Casey. But no answer. Not uncommon since like Ash he has a tendancy to sleep in and not answer the phone.

I was standing on the veranda of our apartment seeing if I could spot Caseys car outside. It wasn't there. But I see Jeff wandering back from our block to his, thats in front of ours. So I yell out to see if hes heading up to the mountain. Cool scored a lift. However hes actually off to Copper Mountain. Thats about an hour and half away. Cool. So I spent today there which always makes a change from our resort.
