Change is a good thing 2:42AM

I'm hassling Ashes to change my photo. Yep the one up there with me dressed
as a Venga boy, reading some meaningful intelligent lyrics from the back of
a CD case.

He's put up a survey on the font page so go vote for a change now! Exercise
your right as a member of a free democratic society to not be subjected to offensive
images of Sifty in a tank-top.

Heres some other reasons:

1. Change is good - Its been there a long time now.

2. Repetition - I've seen it literally thousands of times, I' m sick
of it.

3. Public decency/vanity - My arms look fat and un-tanned

4. Relevance to society as a whole ' Nobody knows, or cares who the
Venga boys are any more. The original humor is lost and is no longer current,
I just look stupid.

5. Freedom of speech - Are we going to stand for this draconian policy
enforced by our dictatorial webmaster? (Well okay probably, but you get the
idea..)

A dull summary of the week thats just been.. 9:38AM

So a quick Monday morning week/weekend in revue/review :

- Had lunch with Ash on Monday, talked about religion and other light fluffy things.

- Took up new trousers.

- Saw a movie with Anna.

- Spent 45 minutes stuck in the sodding lift at work, by myself with no book or pen to write with, unable to listen to my discman. I probably could have busted out action hero stylee, you know force open the doors, commando roll out and reach back in for hat. But had images of losing limbs, bad headlines in the paper etc. Still annoying to have lost 40 minutes of my life, and missed bus my bus home.

- Ordered the mother load of scooter parts from Christchurch. Took some photos of my scooter. Will get Ash to put one up here later.

- Annihilated both Ash and Steve at pool 4-2-0 (That was Tom-Ash-Steve)

- Big Friday night. Thanks for the hassle-Tom-when-he's-worse-for-wear session in the disturbances Ash.

- Salmon on corn fritters at the Parade caf' with Leon on Saturday morning.

- Got a couple of party invites for the weekend, although I really wanted to go away boarding!

- Eric and Sarah are up here from Nelson before heading back to the UK for 6 months. Had a cup of tea with them at Eva Dixons, and hopefully lunch today.

- Usual dross work activities. Lost a bet.

- Updated all my titles from previous entries, so there's no excuse for not reading about it now..

- Icecream and a good goss session sitting by Oriental bay, during the only 3 hours of the weekend it wasn't raining horizontally.
