So just quickly covering off what little I've done in the last week'
Thursday
Saw the crappiest movie I've paid money to see for a long time. 'Long Time Dead'. May I strongly recommend that if you are planning to see this you wait till it gets played to you on a plane or on free to air television.
Friday
So write up from Friday has been covered by Ash and Ems. Em and the girls of course went out to wreak havoc on a girls night out. With a slight difference in that they had small challenges to accomplish along the way. It was also JBs farewell drinks from work. He's leaving to pursue a career as a property magnate (=Slum Landlord). Yes Farmgirl, that was the JB that was in AK when we left here. In between at some point he came back to Wellington.
So after the drinks I headed off to a party with Leon. Ash was pretty trashed so we thought we'd escort him through town to Diva where apparently he was meeting Kramer and co. On the way, (a slightly wobbly non-linear way for me.. a very vertically challenged, extremely random directionless walk for Ash, managing only just to maintain a net forward motion vector), Leon and I stopped to get some specially manky cheap vodka, and a Kebab. Ash caught up and kept going to Diva. It was only around the corner so Leon and I sat down to scoff our Kebabs before catching up with Ash. We found him in holding pattern outside the Fats after I'd been denied from Diva for looking to 'Casual' (Screw you and your stinking 'club' I was really only going in there to see a friend for two minutes.. besides if you care so much about appearances why don't you fix up the fucking mens toilet!). Ash had apparently also been denied already, as I overheard when he tried to get in again. (Presumably since he wasn't standing very perpendicular to the ground)
Off we went to this party in Mt Vic. Ash made very slow progress up the hill before announcing he was off back into town to go to Diva. But Ash you've been denied twice, at least, already tonight. I followed Ash all the way to the bottom of the hill, attempting fruitlessly to make him aware of this point, I decided he was probably best off on his own..
Anyway the party was a little odd, it was a Communist theme party. Apparently they had been evicted by their landlord, or something similar, and it was a bit of an 'uprising' against the capitalist oppressors. So there were giant wall hangings of Chairman Mao.
We were a little concerned about having left a rather trashy Ash to his own devices and he wasn't answering his phone. Into town back past Ashes pad, where we attempted a break and entry to check he'd made it home.
Bumped into Kramer a little further down the street. He'd not seen Ash either. Anyway all was well the next day when I called him. (Well he was at home, and not dead or in some skanks bed.. even Kramer uncovered the hole etc mentioned in Ashes entry.. while delivering the phone to him)
I need more to write about.. 11:05AM
Saturday
Started the day off in defiance of my hangover helping around the house with a little home handy man activity. Then out for a bike ride with Anna. We tackled a track called 'Deliverance'. I'd not ridden this for at least 2 years, and it was pretty cool to ride it again considering I helped build most of it, and theres a section named after me. (Tom's Deviation if you care). After that I went to watch the National Indoor Trials in Kilburnie. This is where a bunch of very good cyclists defy gravity hopping around ontop of things like cars and piles of pallets.
Wandered off from there to Campbell's party with Chris. I decided I couldn't be arsed paying for taxi home so I walked through the Mt Vic tunnel. Mental note - never do that again. Also if anybody thinks honking your horn while driving through the tunnel is a good idea, take a walk through a tunnel and think again.
I called in at Leons work on the way, since he was buggering around there, and it was on the way home. Ended up helping Leon with a small mechanical issue with his project till about 4am. Then it was into town, to climb over the heaving masses of drunkards in Courtenay Place for a burger, then back home.
Sunday
After a day sifting I decided it was time to finally go and check out Chris DJ on the radio. I failed. I also thought I might see how Ash was and check out the damage. I also failed.
Why?
Well to re-enforce my everything does not fucking happen for a reason some chick sitting in front of me at the traffic lights decided it might be a good idea to change lanes. So she reversed up. Straight into the front of my mums car, probably doing upwards of $2000 damage with her towbar.
Did you know MS Word 2000 corrects 'The most crappy' to 'The crappiest'
So sorry about not writing much up here recently, I haven't had much to say really. Been spending a lot of my evenings at home driving the couch, feeling like a bit of a social outcast. So wasn't very interested in writing anything up here as wallowing and moping don't make for very good reading really!
The seat and lamby kins 11:11AM
Ems yes, I hate to say it but yeah I sit down sometimes. Why is that a problem? I have the option to do so, its quite restful, and it avoids the whole having to put the seat up/down again thing..
So Farmgirl was dressed up handing out lamb recipes? Muhahaha! How appropriate!!! ;
