Lose unwanted weight instantly 11:57AM
So at 4:05 am on Sunday morning I was standing on the corner on Willis and Vivian Streets. It was cold. I was tired and there were a surprising number of cars and people about for that time of the morning.
Twenty minutes prior to that I'd been asleep in bed.
About four and a half hours prior to that I'd been at a restaurant in Cuba street with Crispy, Tammy, the original savants, and bunch of bay chicks, celebrating Tammy being older.
Friday had started off slowly with a few beers with DJ Manson at Concrete Bar. The evening gathered a little momentum later on. DJ Manson was pounced on by Sez and was looking a little stunned for much of the evening. (Still he went home with her phone number so things weren't all bad).
I was pretty hung over and tired the next day when DJ M rang to see if I wanted to go for ride. He turned up at my place about two hours later with Sally, and her friend Andy. We headed off up towards the windmill. Sally bailed at the top. Having checked out our form. (OK, actually she had some where else to be.. but it sounds better that way). Did the deliverance track again. This time I managed the entire track not bailing once. Its never fails to amaze me how quickly you can recover your skills and fitness for something.
Just before we parted ways at the end of the ride this guy Andy, whom I'd not met until that ride, and I got talking about snow boarding. He said he might have a spare space heading up the mountain on Sunday. So that's how I ended up on the corner of Vivian and Willis at 4am on Sunday morning.
About 4:15am my ride arrived. I wedged my snowboard in the back and off we headed north.
Had a very satisfactory day boarding about Turoa. Managed to find plenty of new snow, some nice steep bits and to only crash a handful of times, none of which were a result of me landing jumps badly.
Got back last night about 9pm. Now I'm very tired and very broken.
