What oil slick sir? 9:49AM

So last night at 2:30am I was kicking around the Ferry terminal.

Why you might ask?

Well at 9:30 pm I got phone call from Leon. He was on the Ferry on the way back from a scooter rally in the South Island. I knew he was going to ask a favour, I can usually work out what Leon's calling about, not in a bad way, but I had a hunch it was either some girl he'd met, and just had to tell me about, his phone had been stolen by a stranger who was randomly calling people out of the address book or something was wrong with his scooter.

I was wrong on all counts.
Well I was sort of correct on his bike having something wrong. Its headlight had stopped going, but that wasn't a biggie.

What had happened is he'd brought another scooter on his road trip. A 1950s German number. Goddang! He now owns 5 scooters.

So at 2:30am, after following him back in the car to drop off the scooter with the broken headlight, we were fixing a small fuel leak on this new(old) scooter, outside the ferry terminal. We managed to leave quite puddle of oily petrol in the process, being another two stroke motor and all.

Actually one interesting thing was the number of people out that late on Tuesday night. Bizarre.

Now I'm really tired and I'm off to bed.
