The lads 12:21PM
Went home on Friday with a migraine.. watched the movie 'East is East'. Which was good. Spent the evening on the couch, before crashing out early. Saturday I spent the morning driving around Dave's massive four-wheel drive helping Ems move out of her flat.
Although its a little sad, the end of an era and all that, (and it like 2 years since I called that flat my home), things change and that's cool. Once Ems gets over all the stress of moving home (and other recent grief), and has shed all her surplus belongings it's a wicked feeling, when you're sitting on the plane all ready to go. I'm jealous.
Ash has written up everything else of interest from Saturday. Although I was up late enough on Saturday to see the sky lightening pre sunrise! Which I haven't done since clubbing in London.. where it was like 8 in the morning when we got home most nights.
(Sorry Ash you know I don't write anything interesting like that up here ;)
Although worth mentioning prior to meeting up with girls in town it was a lads night out with no less than 7 boys leaving Marks party to head into town (me, leon, jason, dj manson, the wookie, dodgy steve and ash)
The days were spent getting my scooter going. Well it's not actually my scooter entirely. L has leant me his spare bike minus the motor, which I've replaced with my rebuilt one. Sunday evening I went for the first ride. All good, was most stoked it started the first time, and went with no further tuning other than adjusting the idle and filling it with gas.
Sunday I watched the movie 'Ali' with my mother. Which was much better then I expected, and mum provided a useful historical commentary.
