Hungry hungry hippos 9:51AM

Saw a cool moive last night, Donnie Darko. Ashes I think you'd like it. From a review: ""Highschooler Donnie is plagued by visions of a giant evil rabbit who orders him to commit acts of violence and predicts the impending end of the world"".

And randomly a quote .. Donnie: First of all, Papa Smurf didn't create Smurfette. Gargamel did. She was sent in as Gargamel's evil spy with the intention of destroying the Smurf village, but the overwhelming goodness of the Smurf way of life transformed her. And as for the whole gang-bang scenario, it just couldn't happen. Smurfs are asexual. They don't even have reproductive organs under those little white pants. That's what's so illogical, you know, about being a Smurf. What's the point of living if you don't have a dick?

Set in 88, a period of history that nobody bothers to make movies about normally since nothing defining happened then. Plenty of (good) 80s music, shoulder pads and of course Donnie is traumatised by his parents not giving hungry hungry hippos for christmas as a child.
