So why is it that how long something takes to do is always inversely proportional to how much fun it is?
Additionally why is that no matter how much time I allow to do something, no matter how trivial that task is to complete, it always uses up all the available time. Completely regardless of how long it should take?

How can I harness this time dilation effect to my advantage?

In addition to Tom's remarks 11:12AM

""Good utilisation of the time dialation factor; use it for punishment (most parents do). For example make your kids do some mundane house hold chore when they're bad. It'll take them forever and they'll hate it...

Also it is used extensively by maths teachers. I remember wondering how come a 1 hour maths class could last for what seemed like at least two hours. I also wondered if that time dialation would continue to work if I brought in movie and watched it in the corner. Would I have been able to watch a whole two hour movie within a one hour maths lecture?""
