Jeez what a slacker.
So yeah the last few weeks I've been doing heaps.. but nothing specially exciting, and sure as hell nothing worth writing up here apparently.. but I've slipped to the grey area for those people that never write.
Went to the Martinborough wine and food festival, which was good. Decent hot and sunny weather and had a good crew, which was wicked.
Had a good long yarn to the Crispy one on the phone the other weekend.
Fixed the fridge. Scooter is almost all go ' just gotta sort out a legit set of plates.. and warrant. So nothing new or exciting really
Xmas party season here is kicking off soon.
Movies and the flat movie night 10:06AM
Yeah Apocalypse Now is quite good huh Crispy.. quite a good story about the movie.. apparently they were basically given a blank cheque book by the cinema and they just blew money all over the place.. the director said that in retrospect it was bad and kinda of paralleled the story in the movie itself.. with them in the middle of the jungle .. is a dream world of their own haemorrhaging money instead of all sanity.
With a lot of helicopters.
On the subject of movies suggestions are welcome for our flat movie night.
The plan so far is to get a bunch-o-DVDs ready for a night out in our backyard. We've got the large screen. Can probably borrow a projector. Put the couches out the back invite select guests around.
Get the popcorn maker going. Maybe some 5.1 digital surround sound? Anyway suggestions are welcome for movies people would like. Basic requirements are entertaining, not too long and general appeal. Leon has also declared that we aren't aren't any American movies. Hes been smoking crack cos 100% of his suggestions are American movies. So I think what he really meant was no crap movies.
Of course if anyone has the actual DVDs that's a bonus.
