but excusing it non-fairness in the blanket statement 'everything happens for a reason' bullshit is a cop-out.

whatever is going to happen happens.
Crap stuff happens. It sucks.
its what you take from it that?s the key, you could choose to totally ignore it in which case did it have a reason? or it could build your character and turn you into the super-being who can deal with anything. or it could just get you down.

?fairness? is a case of relative frames of reference, of the perceived relative ?fair? scale. if unfair things happened all the time you?d be pretty chilled about something that would put others into a quivering catatonic heap.
