The cold penetrates to the bone as I sit hunched over the computer, studying the art of war written by Sun Tzu. These notes on how to wage war are quite interesting, although a lot of them seem like common sense. I have added some of the better ones into the quotes on the front page. Unfortunetly there is a bug in this code (bloody useless developers!) which makes big gaps in the sequence of quotes. If you hit one of these gaps then the main page of the site falls over. Great, just great. Probably every third hit to the site will bring up an error page and I can't fix it till tomorrow. Oh well, that will teach me to write more robust code.
Surprisingly I didn't hurt too much today. Just a little stiff from the two games of netball last night but not too bad. I had to go to a meeting this morning so missed out on the bacon, eggs & sausages brunch I was going to have. Had a quarter chicken and chips at Nandos instead. They are not too bad. Got a little work done on the web site. Check out the Wellington link on the main page. I will try to make that a little more interesting at some stage but it will do for now.
Caught up with Vanessa at Arizona. That reminds me. Damian had had a smoke the night before so he lost out. I was allowed to drink again so I had a nice cold bourbon and coke. It went down well. It was good talking to Vanessa. We swapped the latest news, which wasn't a hell of a lot, then went home. She had a bus to catch and shopping to do and I had my riveting social life to attend too. Might have an early night tonight, catch up on some of that sleep I've been missing out on..

Hmmmm.... gotta mention that I'm going for a catch up drink with Vanessa tomorrow night (well technically now tonight). Haven't caught up with her for ages. She will probably read this so hi Vanessa, am looking forward to drinks tonight. But then I'm still not drinking. Damian hasn't given in to his smoking desires and I'm not going to let him beat me. So it will be a quiet rasberry and coke tonight. Vanessa said she didn't want to drink too much anyway as last time we had catchup drinks she ate some pasta then spewed. Hehehe, thats quite funny really...
I have a little dilema at the moment. I am trying to think up something cool to do for my 25th birthday that is coming up soon. Vanessa has the same birthday as me which is cool and last year we had a joint pub crawl. It went off. We made everyone who came wear fake tatoos then we partnered them up with people they didn't know and at each pub you had to do a drink and adhere to some rules. Some of the rules were, you must be in contact with your partner at all times (make sure you go to the toilet at the pub before this one!) or you must hold your vessel in your other hand (left for most people) else if you're caught you have to do a roses are red and violets are blue poem in front of everyone. It was a rocking night and will be hard to beat. I am racking the old gray matter to think of something though. Ok gotta sleep now to let the universe recharge and to prepare a wicked day for me tomorrow..
