The Book of Ashes

Ashes

Legend in his own mind, creator of all you see here, he walks this Earth on the path of the becoming.

Planet Ego 9:35AM

Hey Tom, your thing on writing Journal entries wasn't too bad. The thing to note for you other savants though is that you need to add stuff frequently else others won't come back. I like what the guy put down as one of his reasons for writing his one. It was, and I quote...

""I have an ego the size of a planet.""

I have to admit, this is also true of myself. I mean look at this site, its pretty much a tribute to my ego. I wrote the whole thing, it centers around what I do and I can stick all the cool stuff on my page but then thats life. I'm sitting here putting in all the effort so I deserve to look good :) To elaborate further, let me give an example of something I said back in uni to a friend of mine one cold night. This will be worded to sound way better but you get that the second time around...

I was walking somewhere, I forget where now, in Dunedin with a good friend, Bitter Glenn (the name is a whole nother story in itself). It was Dunedin freezing (below zero) and you could see your breath floating up into the clear stary night as we walked. There was a break in the conversation and as I looked up at the stars I said ""Do you realise that I am the center of the universe?"". He looked at me and said ""Oh yeah?"" while thinking here we go. I continued ""Yeah, I mean it doesn't matter in which direction you look from where I stand but there is equal amounts of matter in any direction. You wouldn't count the Earth as more matter under me as that is insignificant when compared to the thousands of galaxies above and below me and to the left and right (and front and back and all other ways). Infact as far as I am aware, humanity doesn't know of any direction, originating from me, that has more or less matter in it. Therefore to the best of humnaities knowledge, I am the center of the universe."" Bitter Glenn knew me well enough not to argue that one. Although it has many assumptions and doesn't really mean anything, to argue it would invoke an hour long discussion on the trivialities in life. Instead we talked of beer and woman, leaving behind the assumption that I was the center of the universe. Now that I think about it, I wonder if Glenn ever used that arguement on someone else. Hey Glenn, come to Wellington, we miss your bitterness!

So my ego is also large (although hopefully mostly self contained), possibly even nearing the critical mass upon which once it exceeds it will collapse under its own weight forming a new singularity to consume the world as we know it.

Right. Thats enough of that then. Lets just say that Tuesday is almost over. I just had a support call from Damian, went round to his place and fixed the problem as well as creating a new disciples dairy entry area. I envisage people paying us to use these cool facilities. Whether people do or not is a different matter, but it doesn't bother me either way. Dan, you hear that? I've got an area set up for your use. Will test it then send it your way. So anyway Damian and I went out to Kitty O'Shaes the local Irish bar to listen to a live band over a few drinks. We discussed business and then what I was going to do for my birthday. It sounds like I might be hiring out a bar. We shall see. The Fletcher Challenge is still calling out to us. We need to address this mission and sometime soon..

Book of Genuises 10:44AM

I am going to have to make the Book of Genuises live on the web. It is the only way. Then people will be able to read the scipture and see the prophecies so that when they come true they will know that it was once written here. This undertaking is not a small task. It may take months or even years as parts of the Book are still to be written

Next morning... 12:54PM

Do you know your word name? Its that word that sounds like your name but its not. For me its actually. People might say ""Actually I do know that song now you mention it"" and I'll turn my head. Its a close enough match to Ashley that my ears pick up at the mention of this word, my word name. I don't actually respond to it, I just become more alert, incase people were talking to me after all. So tell me, what is your word name?

Right now this motivates me. But then did I mention I have just had a roast? Damn it was good. Whoever first tried mixing the fat from the chicken (or other meat) with flour and water was a genius, it tastes great on roast potatoes... mmmmmm yum, roast potatoes. I had thought I wasn't that hungry, but then maybe I wasn't back at 9ish when I thought that. By the time it got to midnight and I had only eaten a piece of chocolate cake and a mandarin I was starving and about the only thing that was going to truly satisfy me was a gigantigous roast meal. It has certainly given me a lot of energy back. Anyway I am now going to do a few exercises then off to bed. Tomorrow I am thinking of watching a movie. Sounds good huh. Night night
