The falling dream 8:49AM

I'm falling and falling and my heart is racing as I brace myself for an impact that must be fatal and then I hit and I stand up without a scratch, unhurt, unharmed, but with fear still pumping through my veins...

Things are racing out of control, I'm falling behind in my diary entries and getting distracted by things. I guess its acceptable when you consider the things but its been a massive weekend and I only had 3 hours sleep on Sunday night. Monday was what you would call a zombie day. I stumbled around half awake, half asleep but as is usual in life I started to ramp up towards the end of the day. I touched up all the photos from Amy's 21st and put them on the web site, ready to order, then came home. Fi came over soon after wanting to know if I was keen for a blade and just then I got a call from Amy from Shop Naked. She pretty much asked me what bottle of alcohol I wanted and said it would be delivered free of charge to my place the next night. Fi and Gerry will tell you that I was grinning like an idiot while on the phone and all I kept repeating afterwards was ""I'm getting a bottle of Kahlua, I'm getting a bottle of Kahlua!"". Ahhh life is sweet sometimes. Now I was a little confused by who was actually sponsoring me for this but I think I have it sussed now. It goes a little something like this, and Amy please correct me if I'm wrong...

Liquor King is owned by Lion Nathan Ltd who also own Shop Naked. Shop Naked is a (new?) online purchasing service through which Liquor King deliver/sell their goods. So I've been talking with a girl from Shop Naked but really they're all kinda the same thing. The Liquor King web site is pretty cool giving you pictures of the bottles with descriptions of what they are, how much it costs, and how many they have available in case you want to buy in bulk. I don't know how long this link will last as I'm told they're redoing their web site some time soon but check out what I'm getting

Free Liquor from shop naked and the best blade with Fi 9:13AM

So that is very sweet. I've invited the savants around, Crispy & Psykx after work for a celebratory drink or two as this is our first sponsorship ever. I don't know if I expected to get this or not, but now I'm going to have to ask some other people if they're interested to see what else I can get.

So anyway Fi & I went out for the best blade ever. I think the excitement from the phone call had infused within me unlimited energy. We went round Oriental bay and then back towards Queens wharf. I was jumping these flat wooden things (about 15 of them) and landing backwards and still didn't get tired. We decided to go for a bit of a mission through town just to be different so went down Lambton key and stopped in that little park which as Gerry calls it has the ""sperm fountains"" in it. There was a cafe there playing some loudish music so I dared Fi to rollerblade past dancing. Hehehe, I so wish I had my digital camera with me - cause she did it. Fi had discovered limericks that day and so told me all the ones she had made up. I spouted forth a few as well which weren't too bad but I've forgotten them now, actually I remember Fi's one...

Who kindly cooked me some tea

I thought it a joke

To drink all her coke

But she wouldn't stop talking to me!

She did one on me but its a little embarrassing (contains sensitive material) so if you can find it, its hidden in the trillion pages, and no its not on the summary list so you've got about a 1 in a trillion chance of finding it. Good luck to you.

So anyway, 2 hours later we came home and sat around talking. I heated up some chips as I needed to do some shopping and then Gerry went off to bed. I was going to borrow Ever After from Fi and watch that on our newly borrowed video but quite ironically Fi had locked herself out of her flat and her flatmates weren't home. So I ended up cooking her pizza for tea and repaying her the favour for when the same thing happened to me. Amy came home before the tea was ready so Fi got the video and came back. We got in trouble from Gerry for talking too much (the kitchen is right next to Gerrys room) so we ended up playing cards in my room. I didn't watch the video as I didn't want to keep Gerry awake any more.

So now I'm at work and kind of caught up on my sleep. Its an alright day and I've got my development meeting then going for a bike ride with Robyn as todays my day off. Then I'm meeting up with Damian to suss out Arizona as our first potential customer then I'm off round to his place to actually write some code to handle the sponsors area. Then its back to my place to finish off the last chapter of my book and then have a few drinks with the guys to celebrate. Sifty Tom we wish you were here too. Make sure you have one for us. Remember if you can get people over there to sponsor you, I'll soon have the capability to put logos up at the bottom of your page.

On a side note Damian has handed in his resignation at work. He is going ahead to do some commissioned sales and become a little more dedicated to the Ecoli cause. Good luck dude, I'm working hard on getting enough money to be able to pay you for this site :) Gotta say thats one big lion he just killed, its going to make a beautiful rug one day...

Thats me for now, I suppose I should kill a few of my lions as well
