The Book of Ashes

Ashes

Legend in his own mind, creator of all you see here, he walks this Earth on the path of the becoming.

The kind of stuff that puts you in a good mood. 1:16AM

It was written this day,

that I would feel this way.

A tingle inside of me,

just wanting a say.

Should I let it all out,

with a roaring big shout.

Or maybe down a few shots

with a lot of clout.

For those who are harty,

tomorrow we party.

And then it all begins again,

for some of us are farty.

Ok so begining to loose it a little there, I am not always the poet, just a peniless sitare player...

What is there to say? Where do I begin? What is it that puts you in a good mood anyway? Is it from being creative? from being in good company? from watching a movie? icecream maybe or apple pie? pancakes, pikelets, jam & cream? lollies & chocolate? playing sport till you're buzzing on the adreneline? lying back and watching the stars? I've had all of these things today so they may slightly contribute to my good mood. It may also have something to do with the jelly I was eating straight from the packet, nothing is sweeter, trust me...

I caught up on my sleep today and got out of bed around 8:30. I wondered into work and found some people at work had made pikelets with jam and cream and pancakes with iceing sugar, fruit salad, raspberry sause & mapple syrup, yummmm! I pigged out on this. I had lunch with Crispy at 12 so wondered through town to do a little shopping. Came back and we went to Arizona. It was sunny outside so we sat out there, but the wind came up and threatened to blow my coke away so we thought it wise to go inside. I had a cajun chicken sandwhich, salad thing. It was good but I was still hungrey so had icecream and Granny's apple cake with it. Yummmm again! I was pretty sweet after this. Crispy told me of some tricks to be played in the following week but the walls have ears so I'll write them up after they have been played. Crispy has a two for one card so we got half price meals which was good. I then headed home for a while then back to Damian's place. He needed some help with a page of his and did some typing for me. I am teaching him how to create cool pages like you see around you and he is being my hands in return. Boring though it may be, we now can record daily statistical information about hits on certain pages. This will be useful in the future. After this I came home. Read some more book. I'm reading Intervention by Julian May at the moment. It is one of my favourite books. Anyway got my stuff together and went to roller hockey with Fi. Gerry said she was going to come but then decided not too. She's going tramping tomorrow after work and wanted to sort her stuff out. She also said she was going out to diner with someone she wouldn't mention and she didn't know where they were going. Was it a hot date or just a meal out with her brother? Who knows...

Visiting the valodrome after rollerhockey. 1:18AM

Rollerhockey rocked as per usual. I went quite hard out cause I thought it was going to be the last one but apparently the next one is the last one. I'll just have to go harder-outer next week (yes I know thats not a word but if I choose to use it then it is). Fi scored her first goal and our teams only goal which was cool. Two guys almost had a scrap as well which was pretty funny. I guess the games enough like ice-hockey to warrent some level of violence. Afterwards we went up Mt Vic and walked through the pines to the Velodrome. Ok so I didn't know what a velodrome was either till a week or so back when I discovered it on Mt Vic. Its that big circular (oval shaped actually but ovalular doesn't sound like a word) track thing that cyclists race around in the olympics. Cool huh? So me and Fi tried out rollerblading round it in the dark. It was pretty cool but a little hard to remember exactly how I got there the first time since it was so dark walking there. I didn't have the guts to go full speed round the steep end in the dark (if you slowed down you'd probably slip down it, its that steep). The velodrome is the kind of place you might imagine UFO's making contact with you. Its just a big open space in the middle of the trees, of course you can see the city through one side of trees. The stars were pretty cool as well. I love stars and could look at them all day (hehehe). Anyway after that went home, put back a little raw jelly and reheated my left overs from the previous nights diner. It was pretty good. I made the rest of the jelly into real jelly and left it in the freezer to set. My sister rang up saying she had some flowers for me (she works in a florist so has left over ones some times). I went over and she not only had flowers but a small scented candle and a whole range of chocolates and lollies for me. Man she's the best sister. But now thats made my day a pretty bad one in terms of what I've eaten. Oh yeah she also had a video for me to watch. She gave it to me mainly cause she wanted it returned to the video store but thats cool, I've wathced it tonight (it was THE MUSE) and although it wasn't that great it kept me occupied for the night.

Ok enough about this night (or last night now). Today (Friday) is going to be big. I have physio at 8am, then return video, then fair well lunch for Damian on his last day. Then talk to the Dali Lama. Then fair well drinks at work. Should be sweet day. Anyway now I'm feeling werry so should sleep soon. Goodnight
