Philosophical approach to the after life... 11:00AM

The beauty of the belief in an afterlife is that you are never disapointed. If you are correct then we assume your life spent preparing for this afterlife has paid off and you live happily ever after. If on the other hand you are incorrect then at the point of death your thought processes cease to exist and you never know you were wrong. Therefore it doesn't really come down to whether the after life exists or not because one can never prove that, its a bit of a mute point. Rather it comes down to how you want to spend your life now and whether you want to waste it in preparation for something that might not exist or rather live it and enjoy yourself knowing that you are happy now...

A question arises; would you swap lives with any one you know or can think of? Would you rather be them and therefore not yourself? Even if your life sucks, wouldn't it suck more not to be yourself? One to think on...

Today has been a mad rush of nothingness. I awoke, I went gym, I went to a pain management course, I went movies with Martin, Bevan & Jo. Tomorrow I will do things that need doing. Procrastination is an inherited gene I am sure, a dominant one in my family.

My eyes are open..

Saturday night out with Martin, breast stickers... 12:04PM

What a munted weekend. Just cause I'm going to the gym now doesn't mean I can abuse my body even more. Bicardi 151, you are evil (75% alc). That stuff burns. Thanks Martin for introducing me to it.

Friday Dan & I spent a quiet one at home with a movie and KFC. I was still a little seedy so nothing going that day. Saturday was all recovery. We hit the gym for a mamoth 2 hour sesh and then cooked up the big breakfast of scrambled eggs on toast with baked beans, sausages and mushrooms. Yummm!

Saturday night turned into another quiet drinks at home night. Everyone else was piking or else where. We didn't care, we had a few beers left from the 100 shots to finish off and an entire city night life to explore. Then Martin turned up around sometimish with the beer supplies. He was celebrating because he had become an MCSE. We quite quickly churned through the beers he brought then headed into town around 12:30.

I think here the disturbances tell all. We went to Jet bar and nothing much was happening. Martin brought rounds of the bicardi 151 which burnt off our throat linings and took us that extra step towards fucked. We then lost him somewhere, his friends headed off and it was just me and Dan. We went to Vespa where Dan decided to head home and I stayed on.

Thats when I bumped into Steve who had found a chick with very low cleavage and managed to get her to put a Perihelion sticker on her upper chest. Luckily I had more and we got another one on her and some very entertaining photos of chicks snogging chicks and blatant cleavage...

Anyway made it home around 5-6am. Woke up the next day after 1pm and was almost sick. Managed to hold it in and recover in time for dinner at my sisters place and a movie on a TV small than my computer moniter and with a video player that kept fading out the sound which kind of ruined it.

About the only other point of interest was Tom coming round to help me repair my hole in the wall. Repairs are how under way but I managed to get a time capsule, a little tin box filled with odds and ends and a written letter in there before the hole was glued up forever. I wonder if anyone will ever find it. Anyway time to do stuff..
