Rearranging the lounge... 5:09AM

Yesterday Dan & I decided to shift the lounge around. This isn't like your typical girly ""Lets change things cause I'm bored with how they are"" on the spot decision. We had new speakers and needed to rearrange things and the lounge had been the same since I moved in. Things needed changing. First we prepared. We went to the super market and brought some snacks and lots of beer. Next we started shifting. Pretty much we shifted everything round clockwise one wall. The couch is now under the window and the TV on the same wall as the door. As we shifted things I vaccumed where they had been. Some areas had never been vaccumed before, I was picking up pine needles from last years Christmas tree and who knows what else. For a while the lounge was dusty and I kept sneezing but as the dust cleared we stared in awe at the ""new"" lounge. It was pretty cool. Not really better, nor any worse, but a change. A good change. We ended up eating dinner at around 8:30pm though. Luckily the beer kept us going till then.

Today is another beautiful day. Filled in by the usual nothingness. I went to the gym for a quick session. Posted a letter (man I don't write letters very often any more) and sorted out some insurance stuff. Now I'm pretty hungry. Someone feed me!

On the topic above... why is it that girls like to rearrange their rooms every 6 months or so and guys just decide on the best or most efficient positioning and then leave it like that forever? Sure thats a gross generalisation but to some extent its true. My room is still the same as the day I first laid it out some 2 years ago. I am scared to think what the dust has evolved into under my bed and what strange molds are growing down the back of my desk where the sun never shines. Maybe its time for change..
