Pumpkin photos and hill run movies... 1:41AM
Ok so Palmy is a pretty boring place. You have to be inventive and creative to have fun there. Most people just rent videos or go to the movies and thats their life. THEY lack imagination. Tom and I came up with an excellent game. Its called FUN WITH PUMPKINS...
First of all we had pumpkin bowling. I kinda rocked at that, Tom taking about 20 turns before he got it between my feet.
Next up was walking with a pumpkin on your head. This was damn hard and tended to be a matter of how far you could run before the pumpkin fell off... Tom kicked arse at this one.
So after that we came up with the Pumpkin Obstacle Course. This involved the following... Runing down between the hose-way, rolling the pumpkin under the table then leaping it in a single bound and retrieving the pumpkin at the other end...
Running into the corner of the lawn (see last pic). Placing the pumpkin on your head, slapping your arse with both hands then catching the pumpkin before it fell off. Then rolling the pumping to the concrete path. Picking it up, chucking it over the path (while on one side) and catching it on the other.
Running to the fence, leaping this with pumpkin in arm, turning and leaping back. This photo here depicts Tom just before he slipped on landing and fell hard on his arm.
The final part was to place the pumpkin back in the hose-way to win. Ash currently holds the world championship title for the Pumpkin Run in Genevieves back yard. His best time was 16.12 seconds. I am the champion, no time for loosers...
Now for a quick taste of excellence we have two hill running movies. They are AVI's (you need quicktime to run them) and are approx 2MB each in size so beware of downloading. Otherwise they are most excellent. They are both of Tom and I running down the scree slope of Mt Ngarahoe. It took 2 hours to get up and 25mins to get down!
