The party.... 2:27AM

The world is spinning faster again, it is hard to keep balance at this pace. Soon it will be my birthday again. I can see how adults have the saying, ""you wake up one day and you suddenly notice you have kids, almost grown up, a house almost paid off and you don't know where the last 20 years went..."". Gotta speed up the money making process. Going to go home and draw up a graph to put on my wall with goals to save towards. Always is a good motivational tool.

So what can I say. Massive party on Friday. Steve brought along a bottle of Tequila and I was reminded how much I don't like the stuff. I was good though I didn't drink too much and wasn't too hung over the next day. Others tho... well. The girls turned up, Jody, Summer and Rochelle. Rochelle kept apologising for spewing outside on the steps last party and reassuring me it wouldn't happen again. Ok thats fine but I didn't need to keep hearing about it. They were good company but pretty wasted. Jody was perched up on the kitchen sink having a little yawn out the window at one stage. I don't think she noticed the vase she knocked off but luckily it landed on carpet and didn't break. Martin was on fire and almost asleep on his feet. He was getting hugs from all the ladies and did a mission home when the tequila ran out for the good stuff.. the 1800. I think this was his final downfall. When we left for town at 11:30 we lost him somewhere. His emergency inebriation fuse blew and he autopiloted home. Averil's friend Sam (who only knew Averil and not very well) was fairly well impresed, first by the level of drunkeness at the party, by Martin's friendliness (quote ""this guy here, he's a good guy..."") and lastly by the chicks snogging chicks. I don't think he'd seen that before and he asked me if this was a normal thing at my parties. I had to say kind of. I'm actually desensitising to it now and its not that special any more. Oh well.

Its quite amazing the level of drunkeness you can achieve at a party, specially with the adition of tequila, evey man's beloved enemy. Finally we headed out to Paradiso where DJ Manson was making his first appearance. It was pumping. Lots of people for that time and lots of fun. We were all a little munted tho. Drunk water, turned down beers, headed home and was mostly ok the next morning.

Saturday was a fine day indeed and consisted of a walk to the Botanical Gardens for a picnic lunch with Bonnie. Was very peaceful there.

The night was spent with Nachos then watching Final Fantasy and hitting the sack before midnight.

Today has been spent catching up with Martin, having a peek at the wicked 10 Grand plasma screens at Harvey Normans, doing some work clothes shopping then coming into work. Gotta a little, in-my-own-time research to do with Tom then back home for possibly gym, programming and TV. Good movie on TV tonight, something like Meet the Parents, Averil recommends it. Anyway research calls..
