Brought a new suit. 4:45AM

Its a pretty crap day in Wellington today, cold(ish) and its been drizzling. I'm still psyching myself up for when its going to be real cold, yes thats right, down south. Anyway I went out today and checked out the car yards, I think where Tom tried to sell Em's car. Had a wee nosy around but really need someone to tell me the low down. Need a lesson in cars. I am finally ready to learn. I have never needed to know about cars before but now I do. Time to fill the old brain up just a little more.

So after that Bonnie and I headed down to Farrys where they had a 30-60% off sale. I was going to buy a stripy shirt at a good price. I didn't really like what they had going so checked out their suits, also on sale. Now for those that don't know, my suit has been through the war zones. Crispy and Tom will testify to the number of water fights its been in, how many times I've spilt beer on it, spewed on it or worn it out in the rain or two the pubs. It is now getting a little shiny, fraying at the bottom of the jacket, lost its bottom jacket button and wrinkly on the front from being under fire in the office water fights. Its looking a little shabby. I brought a new shirt the other day and even though it is a going out shirt I wore it on Friday with my suit. It looks pretty cool, top button undone, etc, but shows my suit up. I realised it was time. So anyway long story short I brought a suit, 30% off, lighter than my current one but still a black. Is a little tighter fitting as well. I don't know if I like it yet or not. Price was down to $600 so that was ok. I can't tell with a suit till I've worn it and got used to it whether I'll be happy with it. Just have to get a tuck jobbie done on the back of the collar, it wrinkles there. Well thats my clothing allowance blown for the month already. At least I'm up to date with clothes.

Just finished writing some mods for Andrews milk-run program. Have earnt myself a bottle of Kahlua, yay! Also have another dude on the line, passed on to me through a college at work, who's looking for some database work done, $60 an hour. Sweet! Is yet to pan out tho
