Headaches, the first entry for the Javahelion. 8:28PM
It interests me to think about headaches. They are a common occurance, pain, radiating outwards from a point centered in your head. But what interests me is this... isn't the brain meant to have no pain sensors in it? Like, can't you cut it up and you wouldn't feel a thing? So really a headache can't be pain in the brain or head so to speak, even though it feels a hell of a lot like it is. My theory is that it comes from the ears. At least some of the time. I get ear ache every once and a while and I pay attention to these kinds of things. What if a headache was caused by stress. Isn't it possible that due to the stress or discomfort that you tense your ears or head and the resulting build up of stereo pain there on either side of the brain gives a 3D illusion of pain centred in the brain? Interesting professor, I hear you say. Interesting. But you're not convienced. I give you this. I know that I've had headaches from working and by moving my jaw and sides of my face (try wiggling your ears, simiar thing) it can change the headache. What if once you get a head ache then things like loud noise around you stress you and make you tense up your ears, head and give the illusion of pain at the centre. Something to think about. I know that headaches are most often caused by dehydration and there are many kinds of headaches. This is just one more conspiracy theory to put out there with the rest..
