Easter Weekend 11:31AM

Well its Easter weekend and I'm loving it! 4 days off is the kind of weekend I can handle and the kind of weekend I like. For once I'm sitting back, enjoying life, sleeping in and catching up on code.

All is good in the land of the Javahelion. I can now submit diary entries online and they will appear as my latest post. Sweeeet...

Well much has happened since last we talked. Last weekend Bonnie and I went out to dinner with Tom and Jackie to Steve Tierney's place. Now he has a pretty nice setup. We had an excellent dinner but of mention is the game he pulled out afterwards. A little circular board with four finger slots spaced around the top. You stuck your finger in a slot and pressed a button. Little LEDs flashed round and round then stopped. You waited, anticipation building, heart racing, fear coursing through your veins, and then.... zap, owwwwch, you jerk back your finger, you got stung. It didn't even hurt that much but the suspense made it such a fright. Everyone else laughs that laugh that is tinged with the slight sense of the histerical. It wasn't me this time, thank God. Its pretty funny tho. You get over it and go again. The machine can tell if you don't hold your finger down and complete the circuit and it randomly zaps someone and varies the time you wait. Its evil but I loved it.

Quick catch up then bed for me. I went for my first blade this summer (what a crap summer) today which was a beaut Autumn day. Went shopping and purchased some flanelette blankets, a cool pot and frying pan among other stuff. I've said it before but I'll say it again. Sales at Briscoes rock.

Been in at work a couple of extra hours, racking up some over time with Sifty Tom. Soon brother Tom heads overseas to Prague, Amsterdam and London (to Cork). It is time for his big OE. Booked tickets to Auckland for later this year (JUNE). Cost only $49 each way. Very cheap. Well sleep now. Tomorrow is Sunday. The day of eggs
