A little piece of home... 11:09PM
There we were, five of us, squished in the car, the beauty queen, her man, fred dag, the rugby fan, the chick in the bush shirt and me. It was a squash I tell ya, what with the barbie in the back and a dozen beers each on our knees, not to mention the pav in the front seat.
We pulled up outside the flat and ran in with the beers to get the other guys to help bring in the barbie. There were the regulars, Woody & Sav in their rugby gears, a couple of freezing works workers and all their mates. There was even goodnight kiwi there. Ahhh, it brought back some memories. It was my little bro's flatwarming with a Kiwiana theme.
Typical student style they had about three times as much alcohol as required and half as much food as needed. There was the goodnight kiwi ads playing on a monitor in the corner and all the Christmas decorations that Eddie had scored from his previous temp job (don't ask). We played a few drinking games and had a good night. As we left we passed Sav out on the footpath (it was a cold damp night) joeing out. They really needed to provide more food. I'll post up some photos soon... Promise :)
USB 2 and beyond... 11:19PM
Well I've upgraded from two USB 1 ports to another 4 USB 2 ports. The difference is grand. I can now fit my USB keyboard, mouse, web cam, digital camera cradle and remote in all at once and the photos come down a LOT faster. Ain't progress grand!
So for those who are watching LOST, have you noticed that the kid with the dog vincent, he had a cartoon magazine with polar beers in it? Is it just a coincidence, especially since he is the one who freaked his step dad out cause of the 'weird' things that happened around him. We've got some of the episodes on the computer so currently catching up on the ones I've missed out on.
So for those out of the loop, Tom has brought a house, ages ago now, and moved in with Jacqui. He has not really posted much since then and as for Damian, I don't know, haven't caught up with him in a long time so I think I'm overdue in paying him a visit, just to see how far he's progresed with his EMP bomb and world domination. I would vote him most likely to achieve world domination through fight club like methods.
